After a trip to the UK, where the 95 (affectionately called a 110) was everywhere, Koston and co. fell in love with the silhouette and adopted it as their chill shoe of choice. Kostons affection for the 95 never faded, and, working closely with the Nike SB design team, hes reimagined the model not just as a chiller, but as a fully functional skate shoe.
Kostons take lands in an Obsidian / Speed Yellow / Midnight Navy colourway, echoing the classic Nike Michigan palette. The 95s iconic skeletal-inspired lines take centre stage, but this SB version replaces the original synthetic materials with premium suede and leather uppers for durability, reinforced with additional stitching for longevity. A nod to Kostons Thai heritage appears on the outer toe cap, a bespoke decal spelling Nike in Thai script. On the tongues, classic Air Max branding sits on the left, while a remixed Koston logo appears on the right.
Beyond aesthetics, the Nike SB x Eric Koston Air Max 95 delivers the same functional updates introduced in the Summit White and Cactus Flower colourway. Built from the ground up, the SB edition trims weight and refines both insole and tread for improved boardfeel and flexibility.
